Fireside Gear: A new household name(hopefully)

Hello everyone, My name is Patrick and welcome to the first official blog of Fireside Gear. Hello to my roughly 250+ followers on my social media platforms and those that are family, friends and professional colleagues, Many of you are still wondering exactly what FSG is about exactly, Well unfortunately there is no "exactly". FSG will be about the outdoors, camping,fishing,hunting,bush craft,survival,home security,emergency preparedness and more. Your thinking..."who is this guy and why does he think he can preach about these things to us? whats his experience?". At the time i write this(JAN 2020) I have over 5 years professional experience in Security in multiple fashions. I've secured homes, multi story apartment buildings from the hood to luxury, large and small corporate offices, stores, movie theaters, airports and juvenile detention facility. From patrolling to remote surveillance, I've done a lot in the security world. I've been trained to multiple levels for Terrorism, radioactive remote monitoring and more. I have almost 8 years professional experience as a on call firefighter. I've been through the Massachusetts Call Volunteer Firefighter Academy, have hundreds of hours of training from Mass casualty events,Hazmat,terrorist acts, Emergency First Responder and more. Professional experience aside, personally i have a lot of experience as well. I've been camping, practicing brush craft and outdoor survivalist for over 10 years of my life. As well as being a avid camper and outdoor enthusiast, i have a knack for gear. I love new and evolving technology such as solar generators, multi use tools like E tools,Leather men and more. Speaking of tech, in the terms of home security, I've setup up my own security and surveillance package at home, and not one of those out of the box type deals, everything is custom programmed. From outside lights that turn on and off for dusk and dawn along with IR cameras for day and night recording to custom inputs for alarms, events and other things. "Wait.... did he just say custom alarm settings??" yes, i did. I'll cover this all in another post about home security and safety. As you can see at least in my eyes and those of my family and friends who often seek guidance from me in the aforementioned subjects, i may not call myself a master, but i am very experienced. So with that down, i would hope to see you all follow and join me in the coming years for a great time reviewing gear, camping, holding classes for those who would like to join and more.
